In hot pursuit are the red Alfa Romeos of Rigal and Zehender, the Maserati of De Sterlich and the white 7.7 litre Mercedes of Caracciola. In the background is the blue Delage of de Rovin. In this colourful 100-lap race, Bugatti were to take 6 out of the first 7 places, with only 9 cars finishing out of 16 starters
