Joseph Siffert (Fribourg, 7 July 1936 - Brands Hatch, England, 24 October 1971) was a Swiss racing driver. Between 1962 and 1971, he started 96 of the 100 Grands Prix Formula 1 for which he was registered for the teams Lotus, Brabham, Rob Walker Racing Team, March Engineering and BRM, scoring 2 victories, 4 fastest laps, 6 podiums and 68 World Championship points in them. He died in an accident during the World Championship Victory Race at Brands Hatch, the circuit where he scored his first Formula 1 victory.
